(hereinafter referred to as "Haier biomedical") formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will carry out cooperative research and development in the field of assisted reproduction cryopreservation, and jointly provide cryopreservation solutions for the assisted reproduction industry, which is another in-depth industrial cooperation after the cooperation between Basecare Medical and Haichuang master fund capital. Embryo laboratory, andrology laboratory and low-temperature storage laboratory are important components in the field of assisted reproduction. Among them, low-temperature freezing technology, as an indispensable and important technology in the implementation of assisted reproduction, has been widely used in the field of assisted reproduction, providing guarantee and hope for people in need to realize their reproductive needs and reproductive health. The 2018 "Chinese expert consensus on the preservation time limit of frozen embryos" pointed out that: frozen embryos should be used within 5 years as far as possible, and the longest preservation and clinical use time limit of couples planning to reproduce should not exceed 10 years. This means that at present, assisted reproduction centers need to invest a lot of storage resources, including storage containers, storage space, management and maintenance, which are increasing year by year. With the increase of infertility and the number of elderly mothers, the demand gap for fertility preservation is still expanding, and the market potential is huge.

Focus on fertility preservation and build a low-temperature preservation solution in the field of assisted reproduction

As the first IVD industry listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the field of assisted reproduction in China, Basecare Medical has always adhered to the concept of "making innovative products" and adhered to the path of standardized research and development, registration and certification. As early as 2015, Basecare Medical started the research and development of embryo intelligent storage equipment and management system. Its independently developed domestic intelligent liquid nitrogen tank (BCT38) and ultra-low temperature storage instrument (BSG800A) provide guarantee for the safety of fertility preservation and the scientificity of experimental management.
